To make the interior facing component of the double-sided stickers, we first reverse your sticker design for your packaging in our in-house studio. We then print in four colors on clear gloss polypropylene.
The transparent gloss polypropylene functions as a barrier to encapsulate the print, allowing the picture to be viewed from the adhesive side.
Depending on your demands, the clear gloss polypropylene can be either removable or permanent adhesive. Removable permits the entire stickers to be peeled off, such as if the stickers contain non-recyclable components.
If you want a block out (so the reverse image is not visible), we laminate a layer of thin 30-mic silver pp to the clear gloss polypropylene before applying the outward-facing print layer.
To do this, we employ our 4-color printing method to print the image on a white print layer. For stickers that must be metalized, we employ a different process to print the outward-facing designs.
